If you want a nice quiet place to stay in downtown, this is a great choice. It is a very cozy place, and the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. Our host Amanda was fantastic, and was always quick to respond to any questions. The parking garage was easy to access and plenty of restaurants within walking distances. I’ve stayed at other places close to this one, and I will be staying here again.

We had originally booked another airbnb for our trip to Louisville, but when we arrived at 10PM at night, we were frazzled to find that the other location had not been cleaned at all. We were able to book Amanda's place last minute. She was not only responsive at 11PM at night, but put us at ease that her place would be available whenever we were able to get airbnb support to help us cancel the previous listing.

The place was as described and was in a great location. It was very easy to get around by car and easy to use the parking garage. The location is close enough to the Nulu area for shopping and eating. They had a record player and games available. The bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked with paper goods too. I gave it 5 stars, but there were some issues. I'm mentioning them so that it can get resolved for the next guests. The back bedroom by the master bath is so dark that you can't see to pack, read, etc. It's the only bedroom that doesn't have a bright light fixture. The bedroom with the twin beds has a light fixture that flickers off and on. Maintenance came by and said the had already tried to fix it a couple of times. You might need to replace that light as well. There is a noise curfew but the guys staying close to us were extremely loud until the wee hours of the morning.

Cancellation policy

1. Refundable Bookings
Cancellation Deadlines
• For stays under 15 nights, you may cancel or reschedule up to 14 days before check-in for a full refund. For stays 15 nights or longer, the cancellation window is 60 days.
• For some homes, a 30-day deadline applies — this will be clearly shown before you book.
• Cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day to qualify.
After the deadline - Fair-Refund policy
• If you cancel after the deadline:
• Hollyhock Suites will relist your dates and automatically refund you for any nights that rebook.
• The refund per night will be the lower of the original price or rebooking rate.
• Nights that do not rebook are non-refundable.
2. Non-refundable Bookings
• If you selected a Non-Refundable rate at checkout, the booking cannot be changed or canceled, and no refund will be issued.
3. Half-Now-Half-Later Bookings
• The first half of your payment is non-refundable.
• The second half may be refunded according to the standard cancellation policy.
4. Date Changes & Rebooking
• Once a stay is canceled, you can't rebook the same dates yourself.
• If you need help choosing new dates, our Concierge team is happy to assist.
5. Transfers to Another Guest
• You may transfer your booking to someone else at no charge.
• Just contact the Concierge with the new guest's name and email.
• The new guest must accept the transfer for it to take effect.
6. Policy Match Guarantee
• If a better price is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's site, contact the Concierge — Hollyhock Suites will match it.
